Professor Luis Chávez- González (Caxcan/Tepehuan) leads “Maiz in the Milpas” on Saturday, March 8th at the Stevenson Library as part of the Food & Memory conference. Luis will share in making tlaxcalli (tortillas), along with descriptions of some foods that corn is used in by descendants of Nahua and Mesoamerican Peoples.
